OSSE Training: Developing an Effective Response to Intervention System

p>Response to Intervention (RtI) is a school-based, multi-level prevention system with identification and intervention for students at academic or behavioral risk. OSSE’s Division of Teaching & Learning will hold a training for school-based leaders on developing and improving school RtI systems. This training will focus on:

  • Response to Intervention key concepts;
  • Planning professional development;
  • Screening and progress monitoring; and
  • Interventions.

This training is open to school-based leaders and educators serving studentsin public schools and public charter schools in the District of Columbia.
