OSSE: Starting with the Root: Strategies and Tools to Design Behavioral Interventions, Part 2

p>OSSE will host Part 2 of the Starting with Root: Strategiesand Tools to Design Effective Behavioral Interventions training. This training is for educators on how to use student behavioral data to design intervention plans. Starting with an overview of the Response to Intervention framework, the workshop will dive into sample Tier 2 and Tier 3 behavior interventions that can be applied directly in classrooms. Using a functional behavior approach, the training will focus on implementing the following interventions:

  • Check in check out
  • Habit groups
  • Planned breaks

The workshop is intended for teachers, school deans, and behavior technicians serving in public and public charter schools in the District who attended Part 1.
