DC3C Instructor

Jada Harrington, DC3C instructor with an extensive background in early childhood education; serving students across DC public charter schools and Prince George’s County with dedication and purpose. Her journey in the field began in 2015 and has included a wide range of roles—reading specialist, co-teacher, intern teacher, long‑term substitute, and after‑care Director—each deepening her understanding of how young children learn, grow, and thrive.She holds an Associate of Fine Arts from Prince George’s Community College, as well as an AA and a B.A. in Early Childhood Education from the University of the District of Columbia. Her commitment to academic excellence is reflected in her consistent placement on the Dean’s List while pursuing her Master’s degree in Special Education.

Since 2023, Jada has expanded her impact globally, serving as the Director of an International Educational Camp in Abu Dhabi during the summer and winter seasons. This work reflects her passion for cross‑cultural learning, leadership development, and empowering children and women through education.

Jada’s philosophy is grounded in the belief that students do not care how much you know until they know how much you care. She often describes children as flowers—each requiring patience, a strong foundation, nourishment, and love to bloom. Her approach blends warmth, structure, and high expectations, ensuring that every child feels seen, supported, and capable.Her unwavering commitment to service, mentorship, and educational equity continues to shape her work and inspire the communities she serves.
