Helping DC Charter Schools Develop High-Quality Special Education Programs
The Co-operative is developing new services to meet the diverse and changing needs of our members. Listed below are some projects that are “in the works” at the Co-operative. If you have questions or are interested in supporting projects that directly improve the quality of special education services for charter school students in the District, contact Executive Director, Julie Camerata.
The Satellite Classroom Project will develop expanded special education service options for students with high intensity needs in member schools.
The Shared Services Project provides special education services (related services, legal, and instructional) to member schools at nonprofit rates.
The Parents as Partners Project will help member schools collaborate effectively with parents of students with disabilities.
Connect@Coopwill allow member schools to deliver critical information to parents, teachers, and students through webinar technology.
