KIPP DC is seeking a Supervisor of Secondary Special Education, who will report directly to the Director of Special Education. They would be responsible for driving compliance, chairing MDTs, ensuring academic progress and other duties as assigned. Candidates needs a Bachelors degree, certification in Special Education, to meet all state and federal guidelines to be “Highly Qualified,” and a commitment to working with underserved students. Also preferred are experience teaching in a public middle school and high school, preferably in an urban school and experience in implementing reading remediation programs.
