E.L. Haynes PCS is seeking a coordinator for its Kansas Ave. High School Campus. The Inclusion Coordinator works with the Director of Student Support Services to ensure that E. L. Haynes’ services for students with disabilities are not only compliant but also maximally effective. The Inclusion Coordinator is specifically responsible for creating and maintaining systems to identify students with disabilities, coordinating the services and accommodations/modifications for students with disabilities, and organizing and analyzing student data to increase the effectiveness of the special education and 504 programs.
In addition, the Inclusion Coordinator serves as liaison to all internal and external constituents, including families, the OSSE, the DCPCSB, and other relevant local organizations. The Inclusion Coordinator communicates with and trains staff in systems, programs, and instructional practices that serve students with disabilities at E. L. Haynes.

The Co-operative is seeking certified special education teachers and special education assistants to fill short and long-term substitute positions in our member schools as they become available. Our members are public charter schools located in Washington, DC, who serve students with and without disabilities in grades pre-K through 12. Qualified applicants will become part of the Co-operative’s “substitute pool” and will be recommended to individual member schools on an as-needed basis. If you are a special education teacher or assistant interested in entering into the DC Special Education Co-operative’s substitute teacher pool, please send a cover letter, resume (including licensure/certification details), and three professional references to info@specialedcoop.org . Include “substitute pool” in the subject line.
