The Cafritz Foundation grant supports the Cooperative in developing the products and services critical for charter schools to succeed in providing special education programs that are: (1) compliant with special education laws and (2) deliver high-quality educational services to students with disabilities.

The Clark Winchcole Foundation

Clark Winchole has supported the Co-op’s EXPLORE [dis] ABILITY exhibit. The foundation’s generous support has allowed us to develop modules for middle and high school students.

Fight For Children

Fight For Children supports the Co-op’s innovative program – INCLUDE DC: Special Education Tools for General Educators. This course provides general education teachers in DCPS and Charter Schools with access to the tools they need to be effective teachers in inclusive classrooms.

The Meyer Foundation

The Meyer Foundation grant supports the Cooperative in developing services critical for charter schools to succeed in providing special education programs that are: (1) compliant with special education laws and (2) deliver high-quality educational services to students with disabilities.

Pitney Bowes Foundation

The Pitney Bowes Foundation supported Project R.I.S.E: Reading Interventions in Special Education. The R.I.S.E. program provided a local resource for DC Charter Schools to access immediate and low-cost reading intervention training and supports that build the school’s internal capacity to promote reading skills.
